In the 34Leu allele carriers, the amount of fibrinase corresponds to normal values, but the activity of this enzyme is increased by 2-3 times. The 34Leu allele is observed in 51% of women with habitual miscarriage. The risk of habitual miscarriage is even higher in individuals who carry the allele in combination with the 4G/4G variant in the PAI-1 gene.
